How cool is this?

How cool is this? Not only do I have a FABULOUS view of the sea from my balcony, but I also get to spy on Marissa at school! This is one of the many things I will miss about Okinawa! (For those of you who don't know what Marissa looks like, she is the one standing on the pink buckets

Mini Flip Flap Album Workshop

I am teaching this mini album workshop this Saturday (4/25) at 6 pm. Its especially for Mother's Day, but would be perfect for any occasion. The one we are making is like the one shown, only we are going to use pink and brown (more feminine) paper. The cost is $10. If you get 4 other people interested, I can come to you and teach this workshop at your location. No scrapping experience is necessary and I supply everything needed to make this mini "flip flap" album. RSVP is required.

Scrap on the Beach

I wanted to blog about Scrap on the Beach today. SOTB is an event that I started in October, 2006. It's my baby. It's a day where we can all get together and scrapbook without everyday life stopping us! Participants bring whatever projects they are working on, scrap, win random drawing prizes, participate in a mini workshop or two, enter contests if they wish, have dinner served to them at their scrapping station, and make some new friends! SOTB has grown so much over the past three years! I started out with only 15 participants, and now I am up to 50!
If you have attended a SOTB in the past, or you are registered to come this time, leave a comment! I am always open to new ideas, comments and/or questions. The next SOTB is scheduled for Sat. May 23, 2009 from 10 am until 9 pm. You can come and go as you please. The table is yours for the day. For more info, please visit the event website at: http://www.scraponthebeach2006.bravehost.com/
I hope to see you there!

New at this!

Hello Blogging world! I am new to this whole blogging thing, but thought I would give it a try. Please try to bear with me. Hopefully, in a few weeks I will be able to laugh at myself for how difficult I thought this whole blog thing was!
